Welcome to the Glorious History of 33 Years of the Baroda Branch of The WIRC of ICAI. Established in 1967, the Branch is today a very youthful and vibrant organisation. The strength of the Branch stands at 700 and odd members with quite a speard in industry as well as practice. Over the years, it has emerged as one of the most active Branches in the Western Region. The Branch has fully equipped infrastructure and has been regularly organising programmes aimed at prosfessional development of its members and students.
To illustrate the perfection, the absolutely high level of organisational capability of its managing committee very strongly and whole heartedly supported by the Members of the Branch, it would suffice to remind you of the two very successful conferences organised by the Branch. In 1994 when the Strength of the brranch was barely 450, Baroda Branch organised an All Gujarat Direct Tax conference where more than 400 mermbers participated and thoroughly appreciated the good work done. Again in 1999 the All India Golden Jubille C.A. Students Conference proved the mettle. 1100 and odd students from all over India enjoyed extremely well organised conference at Vadodara under the aegis of Baroda Branch.
The managing committee has once again taken up the challenge of organising All Gujarat Conference for the members of Gujarat to give us all an opportunity to learn on a continuous basis.
